Therapeutic Playwork - One method of how inclusion and playwork can fit together

My name is Cate Jordinson and I am a playworker and play advocate from Australia! I studied Psychology and Music at University and after working in a setting inspired by playwork, I wrote a peer-reviewed paper connecting playwork theories to Outside School Hours Care in Australia. 

I have worked with children and young people across many settings as a play worker such as outside School Hours Care, Residential Support Work, Disability Support Work, Piano Teaching, Sport coaching, babysitting (the list goes on). In the last couple of years, I have worked in management roles and for a University. I have found that in all of my roles in working with children and young people, a playwork approach has been the most important and beneficial.
